the Change I Wish to See

...and whatever else it takes to find my pants

I'm a media-phobe: video clips, still shots, whatever.

And sometimes it leads to me borrowing things I probably shouldn't.*

So, I'm taking the initiative and moving towards Creative Commons stuff only.  They've even got a Flickr profile, which makes things pretty simple and integrated.

My first search?  Used a "Disney" tag, naturally.  And this turned up, caption included.

They were just perfect. They made two little girls cry in front of us, and were just fantastic....

Righteous.

Those little girls probably deserved it.  They should've made those little girls scrub the floor for a chance at a picture.  It's Disney World, not Disneyland.  It's Orlando, not Hollywood.  It's a take no prisoners, take your fantasy-job seriously kind of place.  And that means if you're an evil step-sister or the kind of step-mom that thinks step-daughters are for indentured servitude, you sell it and you sell it hard.

What would Cinderella have been if when Cinderella started crying the ladies above apologized?  It would be like when religions edit commercial DVDs for "inappropriate content" and re-market them to families who want more wholesome material: un-American.

Yet another reason to really love the Disney corporation.**

*Nope, not a confession.
**Yes, I'm biased.

Effing hilarious. Bias is okay, as long as you're self-aware! At least that's what I tell myself...
